Terms of Use

Effective date: June 1, 2026 — Last updated: June 1, 2026

Plain English summary: Tribi is provided by Dyneoz LLC. You are responsible for the content you share with your family. We do not host your data; it lives in your iCloud. The app is provided as is, with no warranty. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Tribi, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use Tribi.

Tribi is published by Dyneoz LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, United States ("we", "us"). You can reach us at contact@dyneoz.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tribi. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The app contains an age gate during onboarding to enforce this.

If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian is aware of your use of Tribi.

3. Your iCloud account

Tribi requires an active iCloud account to function. Your data is stored exclusively in your own iCloud, managed by Apple. We do not operate servers and do not have access to your account credentials.

You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID and iCloud account secure. We are not responsible for unauthorized access to your iCloud account caused by your own negligence.

4. Your content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or share in Tribi (photos, videos, captions, comments, reactions). Dyneoz LLC claims no ownership or license over your content.

When you invite a person to your family in Tribi, you grant them access to view and engage with the content shared in that family, through Apple CloudKit Sharing. You are responsible for choosing who you invite.

You are solely responsible for the content you share. Do not use Tribi to share content that:

5. Family roles and moderation

Family administrators (the person who created the family or members granted admin status) can remove other members and delete posts within their family. This is a built-in moderation tool for family-level disputes.

If you witness content that violates these Terms within a family you participate in, you can report it from within the app (post menu → Report). Reports are sent to Dyneoz LLC by email; we review and may take action including blocking the reporting account from sharing further content.

6. Premium subscription

Tribi Premium is an optional renewable subscription that unlocks unlimited families, unlimited posts, original quality media, and PDF album export.

Subscription terms:

7. Service availability

Tribi depends on Apple iCloud and Apple Push Notification service to function. We have no control over Apple service uptime, performance, or pricing. If Apple modifies, suspends, or terminates iCloud or CloudKit access, Tribi functionality may be impacted.

We may update, modify, or discontinue Tribi at any time. We will give reasonable notice for material changes that affect existing data. If Tribi is discontinued, you will be able to export your data through the in-app export feature for at least 90 days after announcement.

8. Limitation of liability

Tribi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dyneoz LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of Tribi, including loss of data, loss of memories, or loss of profits.

Our total liability for any claim related to Tribi is limited to the amount you paid for Premium during the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, mandatory consumer protection provisions in the European Union).

9. Termination

You can stop using Tribi at any time by deleting your account in the app (Settings → Delete my account) or by uninstalling Tribi.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Tribi if you violate these Terms, with reasonable notice when feasible.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply. Disputes may be brought before the courts of your country of residence.

For all other users, any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of the State of New Mexico, United States.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email if you previously contacted us. Continued use of Tribi after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
