The short version: We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. Your couple's data is stored privately via iCloud and shared only between the two of you.
1. Who we are
CoupleClash is developed and operated by Dyneoz LLC. You can reach us at contact@dyneoz.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect only what is strictly necessary to make the app work:
- Profile information — first name and chosen avatar (no email, no phone number required)
- Couple data — a shared unique identifier linking two users, nest level, and in-app resources (Sparks, Flames, Gems)
- Daily question responses — your typed answers to daily questions, visible only to your partner
- Purchase history — whether you have an active subscription or have purchased Gems (handled via Apple's StoreKit, not stored by us directly)
- Device preferences — notification preferences and app settings (stored locally on your device)
3. How your data is stored
All couple data is stored in Apple iCloud using CloudKit. This means:
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
- Only the two users in a linked couple can access shared data
- Dyneoz LLC has no direct access to your personal content
- Apple's iCloud privacy policy also applies: apple.com/legal/privacy
4. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not display advertising
- We do not use tracking or analytics SDKs
- We do not share your data with partners or advertisers
- We do not collect location data
5. In-App Purchases
All purchases (subscription and Gems) are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit 2. Dyneoz LLC does not store your payment information. For billing inquiries, contact Apple directly or manage subscriptions in your iPhone Settings.
6. Notifications
With your permission, we send local and push notifications (e.g., "Your partner answered a question"). You can disable notifications at any time in your iPhone Settings.
7. Data deletion
To delete your account and all associated data, use the "Reset couple (dev)" option in the app or send a deletion request to contact@dyneoz.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
8. Children
CoupleClash is designed for adults in romantic relationships. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notice. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
